DNA Maker designed Wearly, an A.I. app for trying on clothes virtually, with links that take users to shops where they can buy the items.

The client

Wearly is a mobile fashion app for people who want to see how clothes look before they buy. Users try outfits on virtually with A.I., then buy the real items through links to the shops.

Besides the try-on, the app gathers big brands and independent labels for users to follow, and it has a community space where users share their own looks.

What we built

DNA Maker designed Wearly as an A.I. app for trying on clothes virtually. Items in the app link out to a range of shops, so users can go straight to buying the real thing.

The tab bar at the bottom has five tabs: Home, Shops, Try On, Outfit and Community. Try On sits in the middle as a large round button.

What's inside

Users sign up with Google, Facebook or LINE, then pick outfits that match their style on separate screens for men and women. The home page has promotional banners, a community feed called For You, and product categories such as dresses, tops, bottoms and shoes. Discover shop lists shops by country, sorts them by Trending, Newest or Popular, and filters them by style tags like Business, Casual, Streetwear and Vintage.

Product pages show photos from several angles, colours, sizes, the price, and other online stores selling the same item, such as Lazada and Shopee, each with a Buy Now button, and a Try On button at the bottom. In the fitting room, users pull clothes from the Shop, Wardrobe and Look tabs onto a chosen model, switch colours and save the looks they like. Community posts list the items in each look with prices and shop links, with buttons to like, try on, comment and follow the poster.
