DNA Maker designed the website of the Treasury Department, Ministry of Finance, covering both the public website and the work-system pages used by the department's staff.

The client

The Treasury Department (กรมธนารักษ์) is a department of Thailand's Ministry of Finance. Its main work covers state property (ที่ราชพัสดุ), property valuation and coins. It was established in 1933 and has carried its present name since 1952.

Besides its head office on Rama VI Road in Bangkok, the department has units such as the Royal Thai Mint (กองกษาปณ์) in Pathum Thani, a property valuation division and treasury offices in the provinces. Its website has sections for the public, state property tenants, government agencies and the department's own staff.

What we built

DNA Maker designed the Treasury Department website, both the part that serves the public and the work-system part for staff. The design follows the department's main areas of work: state property, property valuation and coins each have their own page, which gathers the online services, announcements, laws and regulations for that subject.

On these pages, services are grouped by who needs them, such as people interested in renting, current tenants and government agencies, and every item has its own icon.

What's inside

The main menu covers Home, State Property, Property Valuation, Coins, News, Announcements and Orders, Procurement, and Laws and Regulations, with an Online Services button, a language switch, text size controls and search at the top. The Online Services page collects the department's online systems in four groups (property valuation, coins, state property and online museums) and lists its apps, including TRD Smart Pay, TRD e-Commerce, TRD Property Valuation and TRD Exec GIS, with App Store and Google Play links.

The State Property page sorts services by user. Prospective tenants can read the leasing rules and bid for lease rights, and current tenants can pay rent, renew a lease or file other requests. Government agencies have menus for requesting and returning state property, and sales by auction go through the TRD e-Auction system.

The Property Valuation page links to appraised price searches for land, buildings and condominium units, the D-Value Online system, the National Property Valuation Data Center and legal guidance. The Coins page divides services into circulating coins, commemorative coins and commemorative medals, with links to the Coin Market Platform, the e-Museum and the Royal Thai Mint website.

Other pages include Procurement, with tabs for draft TORs, winning bidders, results and procurement plans, along with the organisation's history, senior executives, a photo and video gallery, news stories with photo albums, and a contact page listing the address, phone, fax and email of the head office and its units. Every page closes with a banner on the department's VALUE strategy.

For staff, a work-system page gathers the department's internal systems in one place. They are grouped into categories such as property valuation, coins, state property, administration and computer problem reports, with a search box for finding a system.
