DNA Maker designed krungsri.com, the main website of Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri), working with the UX/UI team to organise a large volume of information so it is easy to search and easy to use.

The client

Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited, known as Krungsri, was founded in 1945 and has been listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand since 1977 under the symbol BAY. It is the fifth largest bank in Thailand by loans and deposits, and a member of MUFG, the Japanese financial group.

krungsri.com is the bank's main website. Tabs at the top of every page separate personal, Wealth and business customers, and the site holds the bank's products, services and news in one place.

What we built

DNA Maker designed krungsri.com together with the UX/UI team. The core of the work was organising and arranging the bank's large volume of information so it is easy to search, pleasant to look at and easy to use.

Pages in every section share one structure: the main menu, a breadcrumb, the page title, a banner, and product cards with an image and a "More" link. Sections with many sub-pages, such as mutual funds and investor relations, have their own secondary menu.

What's inside

The home page has a search box under the banner, product promotions, articles from Krungsri The COACH, an exchange rate table, bank announcements and news. The insurance page (bancassurance) lists 10 types of cover, from endowment and annuity plans to travel and motor insurance. The banking services page groups services such as banking agents, NDID identity checks for opening an account, QR Cross-border Payment, international transfers and safe deposit boxes.

The mutual fund section (personal mutual fund) has a products page that sorts funds by 11 asset management companies, and a NAV page where visitors pick a fund type and see NAV, offer and redemption prices, fund size and daily change in a table. The "Start investing" page (startinvest) explains how to choose a fund and open an account at a branch or in the krungsri app, and investor news collects the links for claiming tax deductions on SSF, RMF and Thai ESG funds. Investor relations shows the BAY share price, with the fact sheet and annual reports to download.
